Just got back from a great day attending a hands on approach to fashion/portraiture in the studio and on location around Bath with an excellent photographer Marco FBIPP. Plenty learnt, I will review my own work practise and take elements from others in the profession so to carve out my own evolving style. Shattered now, ready for another busy day tomorrow. Can't wait to start putting my new skills into practise.

This was a case of being in the right place at the right time! A very strange sea mist fell upon the Sandbanks penninsula on Saturday 26th June 2010. The tide was out and when I looked across to Brownsea island all I could see were people walking through the mist and then along came a cyclist. Completely random. As soon as I hit the shutter I knew this was going to be a great shot. The bike has added a focal point of interest to a very strange moment in time. I felt like Cartier Bresson & Lowry at the same time watching reality unfold but recording in almost a painting like manner.

Late night editing, weddings primarily- managed to get out for a while today along Sandbanks shooting another lifestyle session. Weather was really good. Off to Bath tomorrow for a day of learning.

Great weather today, off to the brides house this morning photographing to start their wedding day story. Then onto Sandbanks for the ceremony & reception. I may be able to incorporate the new Beach Club theme.

Wow, what a busy day-up at the crack of dawn power editing, busy uploading images to my website. Printing proofs for some independent nurseries where I photograph the children. Thinking of going to Bath next week on a photographic education trip. Anyway back to the wedding edit.

After a very busy time last week shooting finally starting the mountain of editing. Had a brilliant time at the Yerbury seminar on Monday, lots learnt.

Getting ready for another wedding today at Dudsbury Golf Club with Wendy & Carlton. The weather is looking really good with nice clouds. Should be an enjoyable day.

I am giving high speed broadband a real run for its money at the moment, constant upload of images. I only wish I could have warp speed to go with my power editing.

I have been non stop editing since last weekend, loads to upload to my website. I am shooting an engagement session this afternoon. Then looking forward to an amazing wedding tomorrow.
